Super Moderator Location: India | I tried the latest version, 1.1.0.5 of EagleGet again, and this time it works well with Firefox. I noticed in Configuration that, this time, there are checboxes to integrate the downloader with IE, Firefox, Chrome and Opera. As far as I remember, these checkboxes weren't there in the previous versions. Maybe these checkboxes did the trick this time. The last I had tried was 1.1.0.3. Anyways, this time EagleGet integrates well with Firefox, and it's working fine. Still, I mainly installed EagleGet to take a look at it, as I was curious. It's a good downloader, with a modern interface which many people will like. I think it's a good alternative in the category of free downloaders, specially so when Orbit Downloader is ridden with adware now, and has also reports of some kind of malicious code in it. I will be sticking with FDM, and will be following development of EagleGet. |
